For fans who have been wondering as to where Bobby Lashley has been, it was recently revealed that he underwent surgery that has placed him on the sidelines.
Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet has confirmed that the reason Lashley has been off WWE TV for weeks is due to him undergoing surgery on his elbow. Fightful first reported Lashley was dealing with an undisclosed injury.
As of this writing, there’s no word exactly when he underwent the surgery. What is known is his projected return date. That would be in early November and is still on track to make that happen.
It was added in the report that the WWE Veteran had to go under the knife to remove bone spurs from his elbow.
Lashley was last seen in action when he worked a 10-man battle royal back on the July 15th episode of Monday Night RAW. This match was to determine the #1 contender for the Universal Title.
Seth Rollins ended up winning this match. He earned the opportunity to challenge Lesnar for the Universal Championship at Sunday’s SummerSlam pay-per-view event.
Lashley hasn’t appeared on live events since June. We wish him a speedy recovery.
