Rising TNA star Joe Hendry expressed his frustration to Shawn Michaels after what transpired on the latest edition of NXT.

Joe Hendry has become one of the most popular stars. Last night, Hendry surprised the fans when he competed in the 25-man battle royal to determine the challenger for Trick Williams's NXT Championship at NXT Heatwave. He also delivered a promo ahead of the match which further hyped the fans.

However, Hendry's time in the match didn't last long and he was outnumbered by the other competitors. He was the first wrestler to get eliminated from the high-stakes match.

In a backstage video clip, Hendry could be seen confronting NXT Head Shawn Michaels and he was visibly frustrated. He then teased future appearances on WWE's developmental brand and said that he was ready to show up at any show, anytime. He said:

“Was that your idea there? 24 men against me? Joe Hendry vs NXT? Well, you know what Shawn, I can show up anywhere, anytime, on any show. All you got to do is say his name.”

Another TNA star who competed in the match was Frankie Kazarian who was among the final four with Je'Von Evans, Shawn Spears, and Dragon Lee.

It is currently not known whether Hendry will make future appearances for the brand. In the past, TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace made her presence felt on WWE's developmental brand when she challenged Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women's Title. She was unsuccessful in dethroning 'The Prodigy.'

Meanwhile, Tatum Paxley also walked through the Forbidden Door and challenged Grace for the TNA Knockouts title at TNA Against All Odds. The working relationship between TNA and WWE seems to be far from over and we are likely to witness more stars walking through the 'Prohibited Portal' in the future.
