A new update on Jeff Hardy suggests that his time in AEW is coming to an end earlier than first thought and the Charismatic Enigma's next wrestling move is already decided.

People have been wondering about the future of the former world champion since his brother Matt Hardy confirmed in April that his deal with Tony Khan's promotion had expired and he was officially a free agent.

The Broken One himself had suggested that it may be a while before we see the brothers reuniting somewhere as Jeff's AEW contract could be extended by the time he missed due to injury.

A new update from Fightful Select contradicts this belief, however, and they are reporting that no time has been added to Jeff Hardy's contract as of this Wednesday.

This means that unless the company decides to make a last-minute move, the former WWE star is set to become a free agent this Friday.

The Broken Avatar of Matt Hardy has made his successful return to TNA since announcing his AEW exit. He has been featured prominently on TNA programming since his first appearance at the Rebellion PPV in April and it appears that Jeff is set to follow his footsteps.

The most recent episode of Impact Wrestling featured a segment where The System visited The Hardy compound. During their entry, a mural on the wall was shown and Moose almost named Brother Nero as the man behind it before he was stopped:

Matt Hardy is scheduled to challenge Moose for the TNA World Title at this Friday's Against All Odds PPV event from the Cicero Stadium in Cicero, Illinois.

The reports all corroborate on the idea of Jeff Hardy being TNA-bound upon his AEW departure. This latest tease from the company suggests that we could be seeing him return to TNA programming as soon as this Friday.
