Monday’s edition of WWE RAW from Phoenix, Arizona at the Talking Stick Resort Arena averaged 2.570 million viewers, which is up from 2.210 million the previous week.

Here is the hourly viewership breakdown, courtesy of ShowbuzzDaily:

  • Hour 1: 2.701 million – Last Week: 2.372
  • Hour 2: 2.592 million – Last Week: 2.213
  • Hour 3: 2.416 million – Last Week: 2.044

The episode was expected to increase slightly in viewership due to the hype and big names that made an appearance.

The biggest competition that WWE RAW faced came in the way of an NFL regular-season game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cincinnati Bengals that aired on ESPN did 10.467 million viewers.

For comparison, the same episode last year drew 2.50 million viewers for hour one, 2.325 in the second hour, 2.081 and in the third hour.

Some of the matches that took place include Sasha Banks vs. Alexa Bliss, RAW Tag Team Champions Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode vs. Heavy Machinery, Ricochet vs. Cesaro, WWE United States Champion AJ Styles vs. Cedric Alexander, Lacey Evans vs. Natalya, and Universal Champion Seth Rollins vs. Rusev.

The show also featured an appearance by Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. Also, Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair appeared on Miz TV.

WWE will attempt to maintain its viewership for RAW next week.
