Tatum Paxley stepped through the 'prohibited portal' last night to challenge TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace at Against All Odds.

Paxley answered an open challenge for Grace's title but her arrival shouldn't have been a surprise. At WWE NXT Battleground, Paxley appeared during Grace's match with WWE NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez. During the match, Paxley set her sights on the TNA Knockouts World Championship as did TNA's Ash By Elegance. While Grace fended them both off, this distraction proved fatal as it allowed Perez the chance to hit Pop-Rox.

With her title on the line and revenge in mind, Grace held nothing back at TNA Against All Odds 2024. Despite Paxley's best efforts in her most high-profile match to date, the Juggernaut would not be denied and Grace retained the gold.

Several women in NXT have expressed interest in TNA matches. One said that she thinks it could help talent cross-promote and give themselves angles outside of WWE to generate interest. Natalya has previously mentioned Grace as someone she wants to wrestle, but with the WWE veteran's contract running out fast, that match may have to take place outside WWE.

It's not just the women who could be appearing for another company. One NXT source said former TNA World Champion Steve Maclin would be a good candidate for an NXT appearance, given that he is familiar with the gold brand. NXT talent have also expressed interest in working with Leon Slater, Josh Alexander, and others.
