SmackDown’s new King could be in trouble when Friday Night SmackDown heads to Trenton, N.J.
Bobby Lashley defeated William Regal last week, earning him the right to take on King Booker this week in Trenton. The United States Champion certainly has not forgotten the events two weeks ago, when the King had Regal and Finlay help him force Lashley to kiss his feet. Lashley is obviously looking for a measure of payback; will he get it by defeating the man who beat him in the King of the Ring tournament finals at Judgment Day?
Plus, the World Champion Rey Mysterio will be in action in a Champion vs. Champion match as he takes on Cruiserweight Champion Gregory Helms. It will be interesting to see how Rey will fare in this non-title match as he is coming off the heels of a hellacious battle at One Night Stand against ECW's Sabu. Mysterio was sent crashing through a table with a vicious DDT. What condition will Rey be in for the Champion vs. Champion match?
Plus, Mark Henry continued his path of destruction last week, issuing a warning to the soon-to-be returning Batista. Will the World’s Strongest Man claim another victim?
