Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, along with his Seven Bucks Productions which is co-founded by film producer Dany Garcia, have signed a first-look deal with The Walt Disney Company.

This multi-year agreement will have Johnson’s company creating films for theatrical releases and streaming platforms, with him “potentially” starring in the projects, as reported by THR. Seven Bucks Productions will also be able to collaborate with various divisions of Disney.

Some of the films that Seven Bucks Productions released include Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Shazam!, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, and Black Adam.

‘The Final Boss’ has had a working relationship with Disney. For starters, they have worked together on the 2021 film Jungle Cruise co-starring Emily Blunt, which is based on the theme park of the same name. Johnson has also lent his voice to Maui in Disney’s Moana, the sequel of which is coming out in November. The animated film series is also getting a live-action remake set for July 10, 2026, which is also produced by Seven Bucks Productions.

The Rock also provided an update on his health recently, as he suffered an elbow injury while filming for his upcoming movie, The Smashing Machine. He revealed on Instagram that he sustained a ruptured bursa sac, adding that the injury didn’t cause major tissue damage.

In the ring, we saw The Rock at WrestleMania 40: Night One, where he pinned Cody Rhodes in a tag team match. He then made an appearance on the Raw after WrestleMania and handed something to Rhodes, who won the Undisputed WWE Championship from Roman Reigns on the second night of WrestleMania. It is not known what Rock gave Rhodes, but he promised that he will be making a comeback to take on the champion.
