OJ Simpson says that he doesn't much care what anyone thinks of the book in which he lays out the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson, because, frankly, he just took his money and ran. In an interview with the Palm Beach Post, he claims that he told Judith Regan, the would-be publisher of "If I Did It," that he hoped the book would never see the light of day. Even so, he tells the Post's Page Two that "there were a lot of inaccuracies about ... how I would have done things." When asked if he was surprised by the public outcry over the book, Simpson said, "I don't care. I got paid just the same." And pressed for a payment figure, Simpson was shushed by a handler and disappeared.
