Mariah Carey jokes about drinking again

Mariah Carey is still cracking jokes at her own expense in reference to her speech at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.

The singer recently admitted that she was drunk while accepting an award with Precious director Tony Daniels.

According to People, she referred to the speech again during a performance at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods, CT.

Early in the show, it is thought that Carey walked over to a table on the stage to get a drink from a clear plastic bottle and announced: "It's not liquor, I promise. But there is a [champagne] bottle up there and I can't make any promises. Joking, joking, joking."

At another point during the concert, Carey's make-up artist came out for touch-ups and handed her a glass of champagne. "This is what happens," she jested. "They force it down my throat."
